IOI is important for UQ and for the future: Professor Deborah Terry

In 2013, I took part in a Work Integrated Learning project at The University of Queensland covering the International Olympiad of Informatics. The Olympiad, or, the IOI, saw thousands of high school aged students from all over the world travel to Brisbane to compete in the prestigious computer-science event. Shortly after the opening ceremony, I spoke to Professor Deborah Terry, Senior Deputy Vice Chancellor at The University of Queensland, about the Olympiad and how UQ will benefit from playing host.
